Larry and Alexa 2

Last month, we welcomed Alexa Dziubenko, a student at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, who chose our organization to do her practicum concluding her two-year Public Relations Program.

Alexa has spent four weeks with us using her creative skills to layout the Treehouse newsletter and design new collateral. She has expertly refreshed our marketing material and we can now be proud to distribute it at job fairs, trade shows and other community events.

She fits in very well as part of The Semiahmoo Foundation’s team and the bigger Semiahmoo House family and has grasped the concept of person-centered thinking. I suspect she’s not in a hurry to leave. Even though her practicum was officially finished last Friday, Alexa is in the office today putting the final touches to her master pieces.

On behalf of The Semiahmoo Foundation and Semiahmoo House Society, I want to give you a heartfelt thank you, Alexa, for all your dedicated work, great flexibility and going the extra mile. I hope that your experience here has been beneficial, memorable and inspirational and that you will come back often to visit your new friends.
