White Rock Zombie Walk

The White Rock Zombie Walk was a family, accessible event held at White Rock Community Centre.  With over 300 people in attendance, it was a hauntingly fun time.

UNITI hosted the return of the White Rock Zombie Walk. On October 30th, White Rock was overflowing with Zombies, candy, prizes, and lots of entertainment!

Due to high winds and heavy rain, the Zombie Walk moved inside.  The community had plenty of fun despite the last-minute change of location from White Rock Beach to the White Rock Community Centre.

All smiles and growls at the White Rock Zombie Walk

This Zombie-filled event featured free admission, make-up by donation, merchandise for sale, music, photo opportunities, Zombie-themed waffles and great prizes from local businesses.  Volunteer Zombies dressed up in their spookiest attire and acted out the part – slowly approaching families and beckoning them over for photo opportunities.  The White Rock Youth Ambassadors were also in attendance, handing out candies to all attendees.  Some of our highlights included:

  • Over 300 attendees came out to get spooky and support UNITI!
  • UNITI teamed up with Creative Director, Crystal Smith, a local hairdresser, photographer and Zombie enthusiast to pull this spook-tacular event off!
  • We received overwhelming support from local businesses such as Galaxie Craft Brewhouse, the Surrey Eagles, Silver Icing, Buchanan Printing, Nomad’s Gallery, Emme Hair, Earls, the Ocean Beach, Ricardo’s Kandy Korner and The Gallery.

“Fabulous and more fabulous!!” and “Thanks for the super fun day!”
