Recreation and Leisure
People report feeling more knowledgeable, confident and engaged when participating in Recreation and Leisure activities we provide such as music, theatre, dance, fitness, sports, camps and travel. Recreation and Leisure is a completely fundraised program that operates solely on grants, donations, large-scale fundraisers and participant fees.
Community Services – North and South Campus
UNITI offers community services at two locations: our South Campus (15306 24 Ave, Surrey, BC V4A 2J1) and our North Campus (13550 77 Avenue, Surrey, BC V3W 6Y3). UNITI’s Community Services provide services for people to learn new skills, have new experiences, and focus on reaching personal goals. We strive to connect people with resources, opportunities and other people in local communities.
Self Advocates of Semiahmoo
UNITI is proud to sponsor the Self-Advocates of Semiahmoo (SAS). SAS makes change through positive relationships. UNITI supports SAS to collaborate on projects within the community; with businesses, non-profit organizations and the government. SAS focuses on supporting accessibility and inclusion locally, provincially and across Canada.
Acquired Brain Injury Services
Through Acquired Brain Injury Services (ABIS), people receive support and training in social development, self-care, community access and inclusion, volunteer opportunities, Person-centred Planning and more. We develop ABIS programs based on the values, interests and goals of people engaged in our services.
Vehicle Fund
Having access to reliable and accessible vehicles is a key part of community inclusion. We have a great need to purchase new vehicles as our older vehicles retire and our programs expand. People using our services can get out into the community safely and more often thanks to vehicles funded through donor contributions.
General Fund
Donations designated to the General Fund are directed to programs at UNITI that need the most support at that time. Several of our programs rely solely on donations and fundraising. Your contribution to the General Fund helps us fill in those gaps.
Wish Fund
When you donate to the Wish Fund, you help people we support achieve their goals and dreams. The Wish Fund financially supports people to access technology, equipment and opportunities that enhance their quality of life.
Leadership Opportunities
We provide opportunities for people to be leaders, to be supported in their personal and professional development which involves accountability, responsibility and teamwork. We believe that people need to be making their own decisions and choosing their path in a way that honours their core values, abilities, interests and level of support at home.
Harmony
Harmony is a 91 rental home, 6-storey inclusive building, in South Surrey. The 91 rental homes will be affordable and inclusive housing for people with developmental disabilities, essential workers, seniors, families and other people who are being priced out of South Surrey.
