The Community Support Network (CSN) Home Share Program provides an opportunity for the people we support to live with a family, couple or roommate in a home and environment of their choice.
The Community Support Network Program is based on creating a natural home environment where people being supported can access assistance and guidance to enrich the lives of the person supported and the home share provider.
We work closely with the people we support and their personal support network. We use a person-centred approach to find home share providers that match the person’s personality, support needs, lifestyle, and interests.
Home share providers are under contract with UNITI to provide full-time support to the person in their home. All home share providers undergo a rigorous screening process, including a Criminal Record Check and an in-depth home study that asks questions about the family dynamics, lifestyle, personal support network, and conflict management, to mention a few.
